ELECTRICAL & INSTALLATION
At this power level, upgraded electrical support is required for reliable full-output operation. Use properly sized OFC power and ground wiring, solid low-resistance grounds, correct fusing, and enough charging and battery reserve to keep voltage stable under load.
Warranty coverage does not include operation below 11V. If you are running the 5000.2 hard at 1 ohm per channel, the charging system and reserve capacity need to be designed around that demand. A Big 3 upgrade and high-output charging are strongly recommended.
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Is the 5000.2 really 1-ohm stable per channel?
Yes. The standard 1-year manufacturer defect warranty covers operation down to 1 ohm per channel when Ruthless warranty conditions are met.
How much power does it actually make?
The factory rating is 2,500W × 2 at 1 ohm. Certified dyno testing measured 5,477W combined at 1 ohm, with dynamic testing reaching 6,094W combined under the test conditions shown above.
Can I use it for mids and highs?
Yes. The 5000.2 is designed as a high-output 2-channel amplifier and can be used for demanding stereo speaker systems as long as the drivers, crossover strategy, gain structure, and final impedance are appropriate.
What is the difference between Black and Red?
Finish only. Both colors use the same Ruthless 5000.2 platform, performance specifications, and warranty options.
What can void warranty coverage?
Warranty does not cover vibration damage, wire or debris inside the amplifier, wiring below the covered impedance, external RCA damage, excessive clipping, or operation below 11V. Full warranty terms apply.
EXTENDED WARRANTY
No – Standard Warranty (1 Year)
Includes the standard 1-year manufacturer defect warranty, including covered operation down to 1 ohm per channel when all warranty requirements are met.
Yes – Extended Warranty (2 Years Total)
Adds 1 additional year of manufacturer defect warranty coverage for 2 years total.

THE 5000.2 BACKS IT UP ON THE DYNO.
Factory rated at 2,500W × 2 at 1Ω. Independent dyno testing pushed the 5000.2 well beyond its rated output while keeping the two-channel flexibility that makes it a serious dual-purpose amplifier.
THE NUMBERS.
Dyno figures are measured test results. Actual output can vary with system voltage, electrical support, load, source signal and test conditions. Factory 2Ω and 4Ω ratings are not listed here because they were not provided in the test material.
TWO CHANNELS. ONE SERIOUS CURRENT DEMAND.
THE 5000.2 IS BUILT DIFFERENT.
The Ruthless 5000.2 is a high-output two-channel Class-D amplifier rated at 2,500 watts × 2 at 1 ohm. It is stable and warranted at 1 ohm per channel, rated around a 14.4-volt electrical system and capable of operating up to 17 volts.
Independent dyno testing confirms the platform has substantial headroom beyond its 5,000-watt factory total: 5,477 watts certified at 1 ohm per channel and 6,094 watts dynamic total. The same test also produced verified results at 2 and 4 ohms, giving builders real measured data instead of estimates.
WHY THIS AMP?
THE REASON IT EXISTS.
The 5000.2 is designed and warranted for 1-ohm operation on each channel when the system is installed correctly.
A high-output stereo architecture gives builders flexibility for large full-range stages or demanding multi-driver layouts.
The platform is rated around 14.4 volts and can operate on higher-voltage competition-style electrical up to 17 volts.
Independent testing produced 5,477W certified and 6,094W dynamic total at 1 ohm per channel.
VERIFIED SPECIFICATIONS
THE NUMBERS.
THIS IS NOT A STOCK-ELECTRICAL AMP.
BUILD THE CURRENT PATH AROUND IT.
A high-output 1-ohm-per-channel amplifier needs serious charging capacity, battery reserve, proper 1/0 power and ground cable, solid grounds and correctly sized fuse protection. The exact alternator and battery package depends on the vehicle, final load, use pattern and voltage target.
If the system is going to be leaned on hard, treat the Big 3, charging capacity, reserve and voltage monitoring as part of the amplifier install—not optional extras.

STANDARD OR EXTENDED.
The standard product option includes a 1-year manufacturer defect warranty. Where offered on the product, the extended-warranty option adds one additional year for 2 years total coverage. Any special impedance warranty requirement shown above still depends on the installation meeting Ruthless requirements.

MATCH THE REST OF THE BUILD.
Choose the speaker or subwoofer load, electrical support, wire size, fuse protection and signal chain before the install starts. The amplifier performs best when the entire system is designed as one package.
